Ibbadlu/ snap melon juice recipe

 Ibbadlu fruit/Pottuvellari or snap melon is a juicy and pulpy summer fruit that is known for its incredible antioxidant properties. Enjoying a glass of cool and refreshing snap melon juice/ ibbadlu juice would feel great in the scorching summer. The fruit is naturally cool and can even satiate your hunger pangs. Snap melons are loaded with micro fibres and can easily control the body heat.

Snap melons are storehouses of beta carotene, folic acid, potassium and vitamin C. It is excellent for the health of liver and kidneys too. Snap melon juice is extremely filling and can satiate your thirst and hunger. Besides, the tasty juice helps in boosting immunity.


Ibbadlu fruit/snap melon 



INGREDIENTS:
Serves: 3-4 glasses

•  1 ibbadlu/snap melon( medium)

•  2 handful jaggery powder

• 5-6 cardamom

• 2 glass water

METHOD:

•  Wash the fruit and remove the skin and seeds.Then cut it into pieces.

• In a blender add the ibbadlu pieces, jaggery and cardamom. Blend without adding water. Don’t blend it as puree.

• Transfer it to the vessel and add 2 glass of water. Mix well. Refrigertate it and serve chill.
